Concrete garden stepping stones

Cement stepping stones and concrete stepping stones are the same wet-cast pad on this yard. People type both. The live local head term is just “stepping stones.”

What we pour

Round pads, irregular walkway stones, and a few decorative shapes. Integral oxide color so a chip is still the same color, not a gray core with a painted skin. Thickness about 2 inches unless you ask for a driveway-adjacent pad.

How to lay them on Pinellas sand

  1. Mark the path with a hose. Keep stride length around 18–22 inches center to center.
  2. Excavate two inches of dirt. Pinellas yards hold water; do not set stone on mulch.
  3. Compact a sand or rock-dust bed. Crown it a hair so rain sheds.
  4. Set the stone, wiggle, check with a 2-foot level. Leave a thumb of soil or thyme between pads if you want a garden path instead of a sidewalk.

Where can I buy concrete stepping stones in Clearwater?

Cast Path pours them in Pinellas and delivers. Big-box stores sell imported pads. Ours are wet-cast here, so the color and thickness match if you add to a path later.

Will they survive Florida rain and sand?

Set them on compacted sand or a paver base, not on loose yard dirt. Pinellas soil moves in summer storms. A 2-inch sand bed and a slight crown keeps water from sitting under the stone.

Do you sell stepping stone molds?

No. DIY molds are a national 3,600/mo search. We sell finished stones. If you want to pour your own, that is a different shopper.
